About us

A trading platform, built on evidence

Rudra Trading Co. is an independent trading platform providing institutional-grade market tools to individual investors — grounded in company filings and market data, built transparently, and always accompanied by full disclosure.

Who we are

We are an independent trading platform covering listed Indian equities. Our toolkit spans relative strength, sector rotation, breakout screening, market breadth and valuation — the tools that turn market data into decisions an investor can act on. Every tool is built on a clear, documented methodology, with full disclosure of any interest we hold.

The platform exists to close a simple gap: the depth of market analysis that institutions take for granted is rarely available to individual investors in a form they can act on. We build tools that are rigorous enough for a professional and clear enough for anyone managing their own capital.

Our mission

To give individual investors access to honest, independent, professional-grade market tools — so that every trading decision rests on data and disclosure, never on hype.

Our vision

To be the trading platform retail investors trust because it is transparent by default — visible methodology, real data, and full disclosure throughout.

Investment philosophy

We believe price follows value over time, that risk is managed before a position is taken rather than after the fact, and that no signal is worth acting on unless the reasoning behind it is visible. We favour businesses we can understand, valuations we can defend, and positions with a defined downside. We do not promise guaranteed returns, because no honest platform can.

Our methodology

Our process moves from the business to the number and back again:

  1. Understand the business — the model, the moat, the management and the industry it operates in.
  2. Read the filings — multi-year financials, the balance sheet and cash flows, taken from the company's own reports.
  3. Value it two ways — a discounted cash-flow model built from those filings, cross-checked against relative valuation versus listed peers.
  4. Confirm with the market — relative strength and trend, so a fundamentally sound idea is also timed sensibly.
  5. Define the plan — a price range, targets and a defined risk level, so there is a plan before a position is taken.
  6. Disclose and publish — with any position or conflict declared alongside the idea.
